The University Grants Commission(UGC) recently gave a proposal plan to combine the NEET Exam, and JEE Main Exam with the CUET Exam. The main objective of UGC is to create one entrance exam for students. The UGC has formed a committee to explore ways to combine the JEE, NEET, and CUET exams and hold CUET twice a year.

Times Now conduct a poll ” Should NEET, JEE Main be merged with CUET?”
Nearly 69% of respondents voted against this merger. A total of 383 respondents took part in the poll conducted by Times Now. Out of these, 68.9 percent of respondents have voted against the merging of NEET and JEE Main with the CUET exam. 26.4% of the respondents were in favor of this merger while 4.7% of respondents were undecided

The answer is no. The present situation is JEE and NEET are not merged with CUET. It is simply a proposal given by UGC and So it is at a very initial stage. All UGC proposals and recommendations are approved by the government and the education ministry. So if the government and the education ministry approve this proposal then it will merge.
Is it feasible to combine JEE & NEET Exam with CUET?
There is a huge difference between the difficulty level of JEE Main, NEET, and CUET. According to experts, merging JEE and NEET with CUET is not a good idea and will affect the quality of students entering engineering and medical colleges.
As per this poll by Times Now Education, the majority of people (students, parents, and teachers) don’t want JEE and NEET-UG to be merged with CUET.
